Cannon Falls, MINN. – December 3, 2025 – Nate’s Hives, the largest beekeeper in the U.S., will exhibit at the 2025 Almond Conference December 10-12 in Sacramento, Calif. Nate’s Hives experts will be available at booth #718 to highlight their pollination services, innovative beekeeping practices and other Nate’s Hives differentiators that add value to almond growers seeking crop protection, sustainability and pollination initiatives.

“Healthy honey bee populations are essential not just for beekeepers but for almond growers and sustainable agriculture as a whole,” said Matt Halbgewachs, President and Head Beekeeper of Nate’s Hives. “By working closely with almond growers and participating in events like the Almond Conference, we can strengthen pollination partnerships and help secure the future of both honey bees and the crops that depend on them.”

Nate’s Hives is the largest supplier of honey bee colonies for almond pollination in the country. It operates more than 120,000 hives with more than 100 beekeepers caring for Nate’s Hives honey bees.

“As the largest beekeeper in the country, one of our goals is to strengthen the sustainability efforts of growers, support them in improving their businesses and just make their lives easier,” said Josh Hosler, Apiary Land Manager of Nate’s Hives. “Historically, large almond producers had to piecemeal together their pollination needs using dozens of beekeepers or brokers. We are going to be a one-stop shop for growers, satisfying all their pollination needs, saving them time and eliminating headaches.”

Nate’s Hives has ten apiary sites across the country. Within California, Nate’s Hives currently operates in Sanger and Visalia and has broken ground on a 44-acre, state-of-the-art honey extraction facility in Reedley. In addition to its California operations, Nate’s Hives recently completed a new state-of-the-art honey extraction facility in LaBelle, Florida, and operates apiaries in Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota and Texas.
